The roots of American Van & Storage run deep in Delaware, starting with T. Bennett & Sons in Wilmington in 1926. The commitment to trusted, efficient moving services was continued by Thomas Bennett Jr. when he started American Van & Storage in 1959. In 1965, American Van became an Atlas Van Lines agent and gained interstate operating authority. Since then, the company has grown into a custom-built 66,000 sq. ft. warehouse completed in 1995. American Van also maintains three additional warehouses totaling 121,000 sq. ft., with one of those warehouses specializing in record retention.*
