Estimates

Free estimates are provided by our experienced sales staff.

Once you receive your estimate, we work hard to complete your move within the framework of the estimate.

Make sure the sales representative has seen the entire premises including attic, garage, storage shed and basement to ensure all items are included in the estimate. If items are located off premises (i.e. office, self-storage), be sure to mention them as well.
Local Moving

If you're moving your home locally, our local household moving division will handle your job.

Local moves usually last 1-3 days, depending on the size of your shipment and the nature of the services we're asked to provide.

We normally charge based on an hourly rate, which includes travel time before, during and after your move, plus any warehouse charges that may apply.

We offer a full-range of storage options to accommodate your needs when relocating your home.

Payment plans are flexible - we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover, cash, money order, cashier's check or traveler's cheque. Sorry, personal and certified checks are not accepted.
Interstate Moving

If you plan to relocate your home across the country, American Van & Storage is the answer to your long-distance moving needs.

We offer several options to best meet your needs. One of our owner operators can handle the entire move themselves, or we can coordinate the move between other Atlas agents and our own local drivers.

Moving your home to another country is an event that requires a lot of planning and coordination with your relocation agent, and American Van & Storage is committed to serving you in this capacity.

Packing

There are two packing options for your move. You may choose to pack your household items yourself, or you can use the professional packing experts at American Van & Storage.

If you hire our professional packers, you can be assured proper techniques gained from years of moving experience will be used to safely prepare your valuable possessions for transit.

A crew can come out to your home a day or two before your move date with specially designed moving boxes and other materials and quickly pack your entire home. This crew can do much of the pre-move work that will make your moving day go much smoother.

If you choose to do your own packing, you are accepting a challenge. Packing is time consuming and if fragile items are packed improperly, you are risking damage not covered under our valuation plans. See our moving tips for tried-and-true suggestions if you choose to do your own packing.
