Office Relocation

Once you select American Van & Storage, we begin the pre-move process. We are available for your pre-move meetings and can recommend the most efficient move process. We offer packing, pre and post move guidelines to help your staff prepare. We provide cartons, labels and other packing supplies. We can also provide experienced packers for large offices, file rooms or storage areas.

On your scheduled moving day(s), we arrive at the pre-determined time with the appropriate trucks and the necessary manpower.

Our primary equipment includes:

4-wheel dollies used for boxes and furniture

Custom computer carts to safely transport all electronic and computer equipment

Special rack dollies that are used to move panels, partitions, whiteboards and bulletin boards

All-purpose commercial bins ideal for small objects not packed in boxes

Commercial Storage Options

We offer several storage options to handle most types of commercial storage.

For office furniture, we offer two main types of storage: palletized and floor storage. Usually, this is dictated by the size, quality, length of time and quantity of the pieces of furniture being stored. For example, a high-value executive set will be pad-wrapped and stored in a vault for safekeeping. On the other hand, a group of 30 lateral file cabinets will be stored on the floor in one of our protected warehouses. Both methods are proven and safe, and our experienced personnel are capable of handling your furniture with care.

We also store several types of laboratory equipment in the floor space of our warehouses. We organize your items in an efficient manner that still provides walkways around your collection. These walkways ensure your ability to at anytime inspect your items, and they allow us to easily remove items for pick-up or delivery.

A separate division of our company, American Records Management, was created for the sole purpose of off-site storage for your business records. We provide the knowledge and expertise to make our warehouse into an extension of your file room. This saves your office time and space, plus your files are more secure.
